Choose from 3 setups

Either create a new wallet, recover an existing one or connect to your Ledger device.

3. Connect

Connecting Moonlet, a HOT wallet, to a Ledger device, a COLD wallet, it's a wise option for securing crypto assets. This method is suitable for long term "HODLers."

How you can earn rewards

Start delegating GRT to your favourite Indexer to earn recurrent rewards. Everything you need to know to thrive as a Delegator can be found on The Graph Academy. There are many Factors that determine delegation return: Proportion of the delegation pool, Quality of indexed subgraphs, Efficiency at claiming fee rebates, Delegation capacity, Indexer proficiency, or Parameter changes. It's simple to calculate your expected delegation return even if it looks complex. Check The Graph Academy to learn more.

*The network annual percentage rate (APR) is currently up to 10%, however this can easily go up or down based on many factors like Proportion of the delegation pool, Quality of indexed subgraphs, Efficiency at claiming fee rebates, Delegation capacity, Indexer proficiency or Parameter changes. Moonlet current APR is 32%, however this would decrease if more delegations are received by our indexer. You can find more on The Graph Academy.

**If you want to calculate your expected indexing rewards by hand, you can use this formula: (Your GRT delegated to Indexer / Total GRT delegated to Indexer) X Total indexing rewards of Indexer X (100% – Rewards cut percentage).

FAQ

Delegators play a key role in maintaining the security and decentralization of The Graph Network. They participate in the network by delegating (i.e., “staking”) GRT tokens to one or multiple Indexers. Indexers are node operators that index and serve data through so called “subgraphs” (open APIs). By doing so, Indexers earn indexing rewards and query fees payed by data consumers like Uniswap. Without Delegators, Indexers are less likely to earn rewards and fees. Therefore, Indexers seek to attract Delegators by offering them a portion of the indexing rewards and query fees that they earn.

Delegators, in turn, select Indexers based on a number of different variables, such as past performance, indexing reward rates and query fee cuts but also reputation within the community.

The network annual percentage rate (APR) would be up currently to 10%, however this can go easily up or down based on many factors like Proportion of the delegation pool, Quality of indexed subgraphs, Efficiency at claiming fee rebates, Delegation capacity, Indexer proficiency or Parameter changes. Moonlet current APR is 32%, however this would decrease if more delegations are received by our indexer. You can find more about all these on The Graph Academy.

If you want to calculate your expected indexing rewards by hand, you can use this formula: (Your GRT delegated to Indexer / Total GRT delegated to Indexer) X Total indexing rewards of Indexer X (100% – Rewards cut percentage).

Each node operator will apply a reward cut percentage in order to be able to cover all their operational expenses. Basically a % from your final reward rate.
