How to use token swap feature

MoonletWallet connects directly to Zilswap, a fully on-chain, decentralized exchange running on Zilliqa, in order to make the trade happen. Very soon more swap services will be added: Solana Swap, Ethereum Swap and Binance Swap.

Step 1

Go to swap page, select token, add amount and review the swap.

Step 2

Check token swap rate, fees, slippage and initiate the swap.

Step 3

Sign all transactions to start broadcasting to the blockchain.

Token pairs

You can either swap ZIL to any other ZRC-2 token or vice versa. Also you can swap between ZRC-2 tokens too, for instance ZWAP to PORT or ZLP to PORT. This last transaction type has a slightly higher cost on Zilliqa smart contract level since the ZRC-2 token goes first into ZIL, then ZIL goes to the other ZRC-2 token.

The fees

In case the overall transaction cost exceeds 10% of the value of the swap, Moonlet doesn’t apply any fee. Otherwise Moonlet uses 0.89% swap fee.

Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed. Both max. network allowance and max. network swap fees covers the cost of processing your swap on the Zilliqa network and are estimated at their maximum potential cost. Moonlet does not profit from slippage, max. network allowance and max. network swap fees.

This might be due to the fact the ZRC-2 token is either not activated within Moonlet or it was not yet added to the supported token list. Please go first to ZIL Dashboard > 3 Dot Menu > Add Token and enable the ones you wish to have them available all the time. In case is not there you can add the token by using its smart contract address.
